As an API/Plant Inspector been responsible for the Inspection and Integrity of all kinds of static equipment (process, transport, storage). Selection of an appropriate inspection/NDT techniques as per codes/standards and specification. Carrying out thorough visual inspection complemented with NDT examination on pressure vessels, psv , valves, Columns, Accumulators fired vessels, fire tubes, process piping, well head assemblies, storage tanks, piping cluster and plant piping systems. Reviewing of NDT reports and corrosion analysis (remaining service life calculation based on corrosion rate). Retirement thickness calculation, corrosion rate calculation, remaining service life calculation and advising for any repairs/replacement/re-rating requirements. Review of WPS, PQR, and NDT procedures & qualification of NDT technician.
Being a part of Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) & Risk Based Inspection/Assessment (RBI) of Static Equipment, am able to provide effective management and leadership to the inspection integrity team & responsible for the delivery of integrity management and inspection services for pressure systems, pipelines and structures and the development of inspection strategy documentation, risk assessments and Written Schemes of Examination.
Have experience in Corrosion Management Program Studies, OSI Optimization and GAP analysis, Fitness for service assessment, Asset life planning, Inspection planning and its implementation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Fracture & Failure Investigations etc.
Assist and participate in RBI analysis and developing the inspection plans/frequencies for static equipment. Responsible for Identification of Corrosion/Cracking Damage Mechanisms in accordance with API-571, Corrosion Looping, Evaluation of Corrosion Rates (measured, calculated & estimated), Quantification of corrosion/ cracking damage mechanisms, Risk Ranking, Identification of Damage Drivers, Inspection Planning, Identification of Corrosion Inspection/ Monitoring Requirements, Intrusive & Non-Intrusive Inspection. Also experienced in implementing RBI recommendations and maintaining risk at acceptable limit.
