 Study the access on site, decide with the contractor on storage area and coordinate between all parties and will be responsible for the installation process.
 Organize and supervise the day to day management of site works ensuring the works are executed in accordance with contract documents, drawings and specifications.
 Ensure that site personnel and other third parties are using and following the required safety rules and regulations and requirements for safe working.
 Manage and coordinate setting out and site engineering including the taking of site measurement and dimensions.
 In the absence of SPM, to be the company’s representative and to receive instruction from the Main Contractor’s team and other third party personnel.
 Organize and manage the installation teams including daily planning and monitoring of progress and quality of the works.
 Control and maintain site materials and their distribution and safekeeping.
 Communicate with the SPM on the status of materials deliveries from the factory – in particular deviations from plan, delays, shortage, damage.
 Check and ensure that the installation works are maintained level, vertical and dimensionally in accordance with the design.
 Provide technical guidance to the foreman, charge-hands and labors on suitable methods of installation for the works in accordance with the method statement.
 Ensure that works are installed strictly according to drawings and details and to advise the design team on any changes required.
