We are looking for experienced Valet Operations Manager who have experience in operating valet parking operations in Dubai. We are looking for the just right candidate who knows the business and ready to make a big impact in a growing company.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Accountable for the operational P & L, monitoring the annual spend against budget and reporting on variance.
  • Must be a natural leader who is equally charismatic and strong-willed, able to create and foster a well connected team environment and inspire team members to carry the culture.
  • Implementing fleet and operational policies and procedures for the transport operations team, enforcing and upholding compliance.

 

  • You will be in-charge of providing inspired leadership for the operation for one of the company's organizations lines of business.
  • You will be assisting our Human Resources department with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
  • Responsible in making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Managing daily operations ensuring driver's daily schedules are planned and optimized for efficiencies.
  • Responsible for upholding company's high service standard through the training and professional development of each associate in the valet department.

 

  • Conducting continues analysis of vehicle, driver and schedule patterns to consolidate, improve and maximize usage of vehicles and resources to reduce transportation cost.
  • Managing the transport suppliers in providing transport services, quotes for new routes, and other requests.
  • Ensuring the vehicles are operationally available, serviced and repaired, coordinate with fleet team to ensure that the maintenance records are achieved and maintained.
  • Performing changes in working conditions and the use of vehicles to increase the efficiency of operations and operations team.
  • Assess drivers and staff performance, providing reports identifying their strength and areas needing development.
  • Training, appraising and motivating staff to ensure optimum performance and successful team management.
  • Support, advise and provide directions for Managers/Supervisors in the achievement of their agreed objectives.
  • Developing strategic and effectively managing the day-to-day operations.
  • Support and developing business requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and briefing sessions.
  • Prepare in advance all shift rosters to meet the needs of the business and making amendments if necessary.
  • Primary contact in case of customer dispute or dissatisfaction and to resolve the situation into a satisfactory conclusion, completing an incident report, and all associated paperwork.
  • Proactively work to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the operations to exceed the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Priorities customer service within the business, ensuring that the first class customer service experience is delivered properly.
  • Analyze customer feedback and suggest service improvements on a continual basis.
  • Ensure that the appearance and working standards of the operations are in line with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the company procedures by regular reviews and audit.
  • Maintain the agreed operational processes so as to protect the companies interests and assets, to include revenue collection, cash handling and banking.
  • Support in the monitoring of all aspects of the performance of the car parks through the MIS provided, including overtime, absence, staff hours and other controllable costs.
  • Ensure that criminal activity has been reported in accordance with company procedures.
  • Delivery of contractual obligations and effective cost control within budgeted levels.
  • Implement successful marketing and promotional initiatives to increase sales and maximize income opportunities.
  • Ensure Valet Parking Drivers clearly understand performance expectations and are accountable for meeting those expectations.
  • Providing training, mentoring, accountability and frequent feedback for individuals on their team.
  • Effective interviewing and hiring Valet Parking Drivers that fit to the company and contributes to building a fun and enjoyable working environment.
  • Leading the day-to-day management of the Valet Parking Drivers including scheduling and finding coverage when someone calls in sick.
  • Making certain that all Valet Parking Drivers adhere to company's customer service philosophy and follow proper protocol when retrieving and parking resident's vehicles.
  • Responsibility for leading scheduling, and training new employees resident interaction.
  • Ensuring Valet Parking Drivers make all residents, guests, and visitors feel welcome, important and comfortable during their interactions.
  • Ensuring all Valet Parking Drivers drive safely, slowly, and pay attention to their surroundings to ensure the vehicles in our care.
  • Ensuring all residents, guests, and visitors vehicle are returned in the same condition when the vehicle was placed in our care.
  • Maintain the organization of key boxes, monitor new move-ins and move-outs, and distribute or retrieve key tags, ensure key counts are done after each shift.
  • Ensure damage report are done daily and that information is updated.
  • Handle vehicle damage or theft complaint reports in conjunction with the Valet Manager and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization and safe condition of valet.
  • Report problem found in parking operations and any unsafe equipment or unusual situations requiring action.

  • Attend and lead weekly valet meeting with the team.
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organizations.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the board of directors to determine values and missions, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor degree in operations management or any related.
  • Experience in management, operations and leadership.
  • Deep understanding of financial management and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationship among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Solid understanding of financial management.
  • 10 Years experience in valet parking manag
