Safety Officer Hse Officer

Job Title: Safety Officer/ HSE Officer

Chemical Storage/ Industry related experience is a must.

Full-time, Permanent

Insurances, Staff Accommodation and Transport Provided.

Minimum Educational Requirement:

Bachelors Degree or Technical Diploma in health and safety with IOSH, NEBOSH or HSW (minimum)

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Proven work experience as Safety officer.

Knowledge of level 1 first aider, Tool box talks, SOP trainings, HSE induction.

First aid and firefighting certificates

Risk Assessment, Analysis and Inspection knowledge.

Basic firefighting Training and Iso documentation knowledge.

Team Player and Ability to Work Under pressure.

Good Knowledge in MS Office (Ms Word and Excel)

Good English and Hindi communication skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.

Patrolling and supervise the whole premises at regular interval in order to maintain safe operations.

Maintaining daily records for the identified and rectified unsafe behaviour/faults.

Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment etc.

Issuing work permit where ever necessary and ensure safe handling.

Ordering, Issuing and maintaining record for PPE and other safety harness.

Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions.

Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols.

Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes.

Raising and Implementing 5 S Housekeeping standards and maintaining.

Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the operation team and the entire establishment.

Meeting company health and safety goals.

Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site.

Finding the best way to prevent future accidents.

Reviewing and reporting on the staff compliance with health and safety rules.

Coordinating and supporting warehouse operations.

Handling Administrative tasks from line manager.
