Reports To: Senior Project Manager

No. of Staff: Supervised: Up to 6 directly / indirectly support project teams

Duration: 8–9-month initial contract with potential to be extended

Salary: 20,000 AED per month including benefits




TalentsUAE Project Development Consultancy specialises in creating inspiring visitor experiences, focusing on museums, art and heritage centres, science centres and World Expos. We work with clients on all levels, from the conception stage of a project to refining the visitor experience. TKCA offers a wide range of services, including recruitment, training & mentorship, exhibition design, development of educational programming and strategic planning.


Clients include: Louvre, Abu Dhabi; Qasr Al Watan; Expo 2020 UK Pavilion, Expo 2020 UAE Pavilion


As a highly-skilled and self-motivated Project Manager you will support the Senior Project Manager in developing, delivering and managing Talents projects at Expo 2020.


Job Description:


Working alongside the Senior Project Manager and key partners you will be expected to:


Manage Stakeholders

  • Liaise with external partners, suppliers and staff to deliver projects to agreed timescales and budgets
  • Represent Talents to the highest standards ensuring courteous and timely communications at all times.
  • Adhere to all memorandum of understanding and NDA agreements with partners


Operation Coordination

  • Liaise with clients and act as main point of contact to ensure continuity and smooth delivery of projects
  • Support the Senior Project Manager as required representing Talents in the UAE
  • Build upon Talents projects identifying new ways to add value for existing and new clients, and maximise opportunities for client retention


Project & Line Management

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, training and operations of Expo teams on Talents UAE contracts
  • Oversee the development of staffing plans, assign and schedule staff
  • Liaise with HR as required
  • Manage and support staff, setting the standard for the ‘ways things are done’
  • Manage staff appraisals and reviews
  • Plan, document, review, evaluate and provide written update reports as required on projects
  • Develop, implement and monitor effective operating procedures
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Manage project budgets as allocated, review and approve all operational budgets as required
  • Forecast and anticipate needs, wants and concerns from staff
  • Forecast and anticipate needs, wants and concerns from the client
  • Take care of your personal health and safety and that of others and report any health and safety concerns.

  • Efficient and structured operational running of Expo 2020 Projects managed by Talents UAE
  • Exceeds customer service levels at all times
  • Targets are achieved and met within timescales and on budget
  • Maintain excellent service levels with clients leading to increased revenue opportunities & high client retention
  • All staff have clear objectives with identified development needs and follow correct HR procedures



  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to develop and deliver Talents projects
  • Work closely with Talents Managers, mentors and contractors in developing and delivering projects
  • Work closely with direct reports to ensure successful outcomes for all staff and projects
  • Be the first point of contact for project clients, supplying accurate and appropriate information and reports as required
  • Supports diverse and inclusive work environment


Experience (essential)

  • Experience of leading and managing public facing projects in visitor attractions, museums, heritage sites or similar
  • Experience of influential leadership and people management
  • Experience of conflict management and the ability to manage difficult situations
  • Understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques
  • Proven experience in on-site management of projects delivering to project milestones and meeting goals
  • Experience of working in large visitor attractions
