Description

 

Role Objective: responsible for creating, from scratch, an internal auditing & compliance check system & perform to detect and tracks mistakes in process flow, inventory, cash, data, streamlines risk assessment, creates criteria for routine checks, audits and analyses reports data for reasonable conclusions.

 

Responsibilities:

Performing the full stock checks, process checks, data flows, audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

Reconciles documentation with actual inventory or assets to ascertain accuracy

Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans

Obtaining, analysing and evaluating accounting documentation, inventory checks, loss control reports, data, flowcharts, etc

Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process

Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

Analyses audit results to determine methods for increasing profits and decreasing unnecessary costs

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Maintain open communication with management and audit committee

Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

 

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in finance, accounting. MBA, Inter CA will be added advantage

At least four years of experience as Stock Auditor, Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
