We are hiring for a Position for Finance Controller, to perform and coordinate full accounting duties within the organization. Interested applicants should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strong financial analysis skills and initiative to perform daily tasks especially in a complicated situation, with strong team leadership skills. Must possess strong Excel skills, Good knowledge in Tally ERP package, able to work with little supervision and perform under pressure.

 

Responsibilities consist:

  • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
  • Preparing detailed revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Preparing VAT filling returns.
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
  • Customers Account reconciliation.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 8+ years of accounting experience with 5 years in Bahrain.
  • Strong experience in Contracting and Constructions Industries
  • Good knowledge in HR
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP package.
  • Working knowledge of VAT laws and GAAP.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to train and manage staff.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Valid Driver’s License
